My Name is Daniel Lichtenstein-Boris
I have been engaged in struggles for social justice for 20 years, including over 10 as a professional union and community organizer, researcher, and campaigner.
I’ve walked out of class against the invasion of Iraq. I’ve worked for ACORN on Chicago’s west side with churches and neighbors to fight rats and absentee landlords. I’ve labored next to immigrant day laborers in cold storage meat cellars as a volunteer with the San Lucas Workers Center. I’ve lobbied congress with religious communities as part of Interfaith Worker Justice. I’ve fought clinic closures and mass layoffs as an organizer and researcher with both the California Nurses Association and affiliates of the Service Employees International Union.
I see the world, and want to change it. I believe in a vision of a better society. I believe in you, and I believe that together we can be what we will to be.
I am just another Human, Being.
