In the military troops are trained, indoctrinated, and marched to battle to kill and die, armed with weapons of death. Spiritually tying Orthodox youth to the state and its armed forces through covert channels, which may or may not be controlled by CIA allied republicans profanes the very spiritual fabric of religious belief in Israel.
Often committing abuses such as sexualized torture, assault, and civilian murder, soldiers leave warzones spiritually shaken by post-traumatic stress disorder and moral decay. Forcing holy and God fearing ultra-Orthodox jews into the military will only further sully Israel society and utterly destroy the mystic contemplative and deliberative essence of Hasidic practice and Talmudic study.
Please do not destroy the uncorrupted spirit of Judaism’s ultra-Orthodox community by inducting the most religious and pious Jewish denomination into the Israeli Defense Forces. The filth and barbarity of modern warfare can be all-consuming. Let us secular Jews fight for human rights and safety for our people and all people in the holy land. Troops out of the ultra-Orthodox community! Don’t recruit, induct, and steal their children.
